Jason Coghill
Jason is the lead singer in The J Band, a trio playing quality live music covers around Geelong, the Surf Coast and Melbourne for over 20 years.
He has recorded and produced seven albums, and has performed live nationally and internationally. He has supported Renee’ Geyer, Russell Morris, Brian Cadd, & Jo Camilleri.
Jason was the feature performer at Skilled Stadium in front of 30,000 Cats fans after they won the Grand Final in 2007. Jason performed his original song, “Year of The Cat”.
His latest video, “Innamincka” (see below) was shot around the Innamincka Hotel and Cooper Creek, outback South Australia.
Jason is most at home doing the pub/bar gigs, playing a smooth James Taylor ballad, or belting out a Bruce Springsteen classic with just a guitar, stomp box and tambourine.

"We have used The J Band a number of times now for our events at BIG4 Wye River. After going through a few different bands with no really great feedback from the guests, we finally found these guys. They are SO good! The crowd love singing and dancing to the classic hits and a few current ones. Very talent Band and accomodating with requests.
